He's entirely at liberty to not go out and play again. He's a grown adult without limiting mental issues (current injury notwithstanding), if he chooses to play football again and gets hurt that's a result of his own choices.

If he was a professional base jumper who had already flown into cliffs three times and got away with it, would you blame his base jumping buddies if he jumps again and smashes into the cliff again? Or would it be his own stupid freaking fault for not recognising that he's perhaps just not cut out for base jumping?

Tua is susceptible to falling on his head?

It's not a surprise that he's going to push to play in the playoffs

It's also not a surprise that he hasn't been cleared for football activities

To be fair it didn't say anything about the playoffs. Tua probably thinks it's week 3.

Tua needs to retire. He can’t take another hit.
My dad always says he's undefeated at tailgating

Maybe it's not I who doesn't know what he's talking about

Tua needs to retire. He can’t take another hit.

i'm starting to think it might come to seriously considering this if he doesn't want to live a life marred by memory, cognitive, and mental health issues. he's unfortunately been prone to suffering very obvious traumatic brain injuries and he is very early in his career, and if he keeps going like this i can't see how the negative effects wouldn't just compound for him after each traumatic hit

if there is any concern of the above from the doctors taking care of him, somebody has to step up and overtly exclaim this excrement to save this guy from himself and/or the dolphins

How many total concussions did he get this year? 2 or 3?

Edit:

Quote
three concussions over a 13-game period - the last one suffered against the Packers, one suffered in Week 4 against Cincinnati that required him to be taken off the field on a stretcher and possibly one the week before against Buffalo when he kept playing for some reason.

I’m not a dcm (doctor), but I do know that once you get a concussion, you are more susceptible to getting another one. The more concussions, there’s an exponential effect. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that he got concussed so easily and so many times within a short period of time this season.

Officially 2

But there was a highly questionable 3rd one

Pretty crazy the dolphins were trying to clear him to play instead of ruling him out for the year. The fact he’s still not passing concussion protocol after 2 weeks cannot be a good sign.
