Among the incidents that led to the #Dolphins waiving OT Isaiah Wilson, per sources:

- Hours late for his physical
- Late for his onboarding process
- Didn't show up for voluntary workouts he had committed to Thursday and Friday

Team tried to support him, but now moving on.

Lol!!

[Sarney] At this exact moment, the Miami Dolphins are the only team in the entire NFL to not have a single player currently contracted on their roster that is age 30 or over. The only one.

That's crazy

Filed to ESPN: Dolphins trading No. 3 overall pick to the San Francisco 49ers for the No. 12 pick, a 2021 third-round pick (SF’s comp pick for Robert Saleh hiring) and first-round picks in 2022 and 2023, per sources.

Blockbuster deal with massive ramifications for years to come.

They'll probably take whoever is left between Lance or Fields.

I really hope picks like Tua are what we can expect out of this front office.

I assume you mean the 49ers because neither of those guys are falling to 12.

Jesus I forgot what the draft order looks like.

Enjoy Tua, though.

My real question is: Did the 49ers make that offer to the Jets first?

That was always the reason to keep Sam for the Jets, and it could make sense for Miami.

That said, hopefully Wilson is the next great QB, and we have him under a cheaper contract without any sexual assault allegations.

They must have made some offer, right? Nobody goes straight to 3 without trying 2 unless they know 2 isn't for sale.

The only reason that trade would have made sense for the Jets is if they are all in on Watson and they want to maintain flexibility in future drafts. But that wouldn't happen now, it would happen closer to draft day once we get more news on Watson.

If Watson is completely removed from the situation, I wouldn't do this deal if I were the Jets. 49ers should be a good team, and those should be late picks. 12 is a pretty big drop, and the only other addition in 2021 is a 3rd-round pick Granted, not everyone in the NFC West can be good, so maybe those picks will be OK.

We have an extra pick next year already. What we really need is a quarterback. Any trade involving the #2 pick should give us a pathway to improve at QB.
