Brilliant. Would happily take Wake or Wallace, although I'm less keen on Wallace's contract.

Wake please.

Ugh, pass on Mike Wallace.  But Cameron Wake?  Definitely.

I seriously couldn't have asked for a schadenfreud-ier winter from the Dolphins.  Jesus, even Dan Marino got fired this off-season.

Would like either Wake or Jordan in a Rex Ryan defense. If Jordan is on the block, you really have to wonder what the freak is wrong with him.

Not only did they take Jordan top 3.. they had to trade up to get him. To try and deal him after giving up their 12th overall and their high 2nd round pick.. something's gotta be up with him. Maybe he's on the verge of failing a drug/PED test.

I think this is all probably not true, but it's still fun to make fun of the Phags.

Yeah, these are the wonderful Florida humanitarians who traded Davone Bess in the middle of a full-blown psychotic break.

Dion Jordan might be deceased.  Miami pulls off the trade with Cleveland and then just dumps the body outside the stadium.

Not really a proper lolphins, but I think they overpaid a bit to stop him testing the market. Cimini makes the point neatly.

Rich Cimini ‏@RichCimini  2m
Jets gave Cromartie 4/32 in '11 + he was 27. BG going on 31 RT @AdamSchefter Dolphins gave CB Brent Grimes 4-yr, $32M deal, $16 million gtd.

it is 3 years later though and the cap is going way up.  Not really comparable.

2011 cap was $120M, so on a pro-rated basis at 2011 rates it's the equivalent of giving Grimes $28.8M over four years, or $7.2M per annum for a 31 year old. I still think they overpaid compared to 27 year old Cromartie getting 4/32.

just because the cap has gone up doesn't mean the cap percentage allocated to certain positions/high priced FAs is raised linearly .
