All the Dolphins had to do was beat the Bills' starters for one half.

Adam Gase could do it. Brian Flores? Not so much.

Reckon they move on from Tua at #3 though? It's not like the Airizona and Rosen situation, because Flores and Grier drafted Tua. The TSN analyst is putting a lot of blame on Chan Gailey's playcalling.

If they think that Fields or Wilson is a franchise quarterback, they should pull the trigger. Kind of like Sam, Tua's stock isn't as a top-5 pick anymore.

Chan Gailey likely hasn’t helped. Is Flores calling for constantly pulling Tua or is he just allowing Gailey to do it? Either way, great way to Tim Couch this dude.

Tua's stock never should have been top 5.

It is the downside of taking a QB extremely early without elite physical tools. His floor becomes a lot lower.

Passing on Herbert looks good on those asshats.

It will look a lot better if they pass on replacing him because "we need to give him time"

I should clarify, better for us.

And the same front office and coaching staff might be looking to take another QB early.

Tua's stock never should have been top 5.

then throw in the fact that he was recovering from a severe hip injury usually suffered by people decades older than he is and his recovery was still more or less a mystery. it is probably the most risky draft pick that high that i can recollect at this time.

willis mcgahee was fucked up but i still felt that a late 1st rounder for somebody like him was very much worth that risk for the potential reward. where the dolphins picked tua, you don't want to miss.

Phins missing the playoffs salvages the day.
