"Multiple NFL sources" tell the National Football Post's Jason Cole they would "advise anyone close to them" not to accept the Dolphins' general manager job.
Per Cole, the sources believe the Dolphins' power structure is "set up to fail." That's certainly hard to argue. Owner Stephen Ross has been coy on whom will have final say in his new front office, while pigeonholing a new general manager with an existing head coach almost never works. The Dolphins' owner since 2008, Ross has thus far proven incapable of getting his power structure right.
