So, that's gonna happen.  It would be typical for us to sign a guy that is just good enough to stop looking for a real franchise QB.

But apparently the NFL thought it was reasonable to cancel their week 1 game and make them both play each other during their bye week (which happens to be shared) instead of playing at a neutral site

So effectively both these teams have a week 1 bye

It seemed like the most reasonable solution due to them sharing a bye.  Means nothing for Miami, but the Bucs were my dark horse pick to win the NFC.
