Time will tell if he's right

Im not saying its unrealistic for Carr to be better than him.

But whens the last time you saw a HC say he wants to draft a new QB in the early 1st to replace his young healthy very good QB ?

Ryan Tannehill has never been very good.  Not saying he's awful, but he's no Rivers/Eli

Matt Ryan on our roster would win a Super Bowl.

That's a bold statement, I would take that Pepsi challenge.

Miami has one of the worst rosters in the NFL right now and they are over the cap.

Thanks to the absurd Suh contract, even if they're able to re-sign Olivier Vernon, they'll have a ton of cap space invested into two defensive linemen.

If Rishard Matthews leaves, the only position group on their roster with any kind of depth disappears.

Lamar Miller is all but gone.  Their offensive line is awful.  They have a couple of solid players in their secondary (Jones and Grimes), but Grimes is going to be 33 years old this season.

Mike Tannenbaum will fix that mess...

With Miami's entire team basically being a complete mess, and Tannenhill essentially being near guaranteed to fail. What has to happen for him to be off that team in 2, maybe 3 years?

Because the guy is a good QB, it just seems like he gets blamed for far too many of the Dolphins problems. I could see him becoming a huge free agent at some point, although I imagine the chances are far grader theyd ultimately trade him.

If they give him an elite OL, he'd be great.  Just don't see that happening.  My guess is he'll be like Fitz floating around in his 30's and having an awesome season somewhere, just not Miami.

I'd like to see Tannehill go to Dallas or Houston.

I'm just happy to see him fail in Miami, because he seems like a bit of a queynte.

Miami seems like a team that will be perpetually mediocre.
