The #Jaguars are trading Yannick Ngakoue to the #Vikings for a second-round pick in 2021 and conditional fifth-round pick in 2022, per source. (@AdamSchefter 1st on the deal)

Not bad considering they blew it by not trading him earlier and it's only a guarantee for this year since they can't extend him until after the season.  1 year rental is all that's guaranteed.

Still surprised Clowney hasn't signed and it's this close to the season starting.  He may be a 1 year rental for the rest of his career.

Sounds like Lombardi wasn't too far off with his deal prediction.

For Minnesota it makes sense to give up the 2. If he walks away from you, he likely will sign a mega deal netting you a 3rd round comp pick the next year. If you think you can go all in with him right now, you do it.

That made less sense for us b cause we aren't close and if he walks we don't get the comp pick for another year, slowing our rebuild
