The big 3 WRs
« on: February 17, 2015, 10:19:24 AM »
It seems Parker and White are moving up boards to catch Cooper.  If we were going to take a WR at 6 (for argument's sake, say we do), the safe bet seems to be Cooper, but the other two seem to have more athletic upside.  Daniel Jeremiah has a bit of a boner for Kevin White.  Seems like Cooper and Parker are the better route runners and White is the more explosive.

I'm bored at work with all the snow and am just looking to start some discussion.  Might not be the last thread today.

All three players are worthy of being selected in the top five.

DeVante Parker and it's not really that close.  He's had less than five drops as a starting wide receiver at UL.  He missed some games, so that has something to do with it too.

Agreed,  all three are top five players in the draft. Any of the three I'd be very happy with at 6

Kevin White has Nuk-like ability in 50/50 ball situations. Cooper definitely has the most inconsistent hands. Parkers are great.

Kevin White is the closest thing to Larry Fitzgerald that we've seen this decade.

All 3 of the WRs are still on the board at 6 and (hypothetically) you have to pick one.  Which do you pick?  Why? Go.

I think I'd go Kevin White because he's aggressive going after the ball.  We don't have anyone like that, particularly as a red zone threat.

All 3 have their advantages, and it's a tough call.

When was the last time we had a sure-handed receiver?

This team hasn't had a 1000 yard receiver since 2007

You can't teach speed, and since all 3 are pretty close when it comes to the other intangibles....i'd go with Kevin White.

Kevin White might be just a little bit faster in a straight line, but the other two (especially Cooper), play faster.

Their speed really isn't all that different in the 40 either.

You really can't go wrong with any of them though.

I'm indifferent....i'm fine with drafting any of the 3.
