No, I just don't think he has any reason to throw at the combine when he can throw at his pro day.

Mariota needs to run the 40, show everyone how fast he is, and be impressive on the chalkboard in interviews.

OOHHH, ballsy. I like it. Then again, the great majority of questions about your game involve the system, stepping out of your comfort zone and showing out can do a lot. Him having a great pro day would mean nothing to anyone, but killing it at combine? That will calm a lot of nerves.
