Not going to get a lot of sympathy from me either.  Joan got really mean-spirited and nasty as she got older.  She just didn't seem to have anything human about her.

Geez, you guys act like she killed your Mom.  Yeah she said some quite mean things, but there are plenty of other comics out there that have done similar.  I'm not saying I think she was an angel, but I just took it for what it was, an act.

Supposedly she was nice in person. Insult comics, you know insult people. That's what they do. I didn't find her particularly funny. I don't like 95% of women comics, I don't think they're funny. I had zero problem with her insulting people.
