Yeah, but that was when the U.S essentially became the top world power. We expanded our empire to encompass the world. Not empire in the territorial sense, but certainly in the economic and influential sense. The Soviet Union was a close second. Had we not entered the war, the Soviets would have taken the top position.

Yeah, I'm more shocked he made it this long.  Only Cahill did more to freak himself up.

I've never skated in my life, I just loved the documentary. It's one of those movies I could watch at any time and Jay Adams was my favorite of the bunch. Like IJR alluded, not a shock that he's dead, just sucks.
