I wasn't suggesting anyone not like him, I just heard that rant for the first time this morning and it's hilarious.

Oh I thought it was a rant where he was berating someone. I can't listen to that at work, no worries.

He's rightfully pissed about something and doesn't really single anyone out.

They used to play this on Howard Stern all the time. Stern never liked him, said he was the luckiest guy in the history of radio.

Louis Zamperini, Olympian and WWII hero, 97 years old.  This guy was a stud.

The end of an era as the last of the Ramones leaves us.

Marky is still alive and he played a lot longer than Tommy.  The lineup with Marky is considered the primary one.

Point taken. Marky Ramone is absolutely part of the classic Ramones lineup, but he isn't a founding member. I fully accept that that's like saying that Paul Di'Anno is more important to Iron Maiden than Bruce Dickinson, which would of course be rubbish.

Edited for stupid name confusion.

They were part of a lot of hard living, I am surprised so many of the chemical experiments (Van Halen, Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin etc. etc) are still alive.

That said, I love the Ramones and in general much of the genre they helped create.

All good.  I was just pointing out that the last of the Ramones certainly hasn't left us.

Side note, but I went to a show that at the time was the only time they were all on stage together.  97 I think.  In NY.  Got a boxed set signed by all of them, gave it to my sister for Christmas.  10 years later I found out she sold it.  Bitch.
