I just don't know if there's anyone left the carry that torch with Power Trip likely finished.

Deep Ellum in Dallas has some of the coolest metal and hardcore venues on the planet, and there's Power Trip merch and posters all over the buildings.

No, I don't either. There have been good albums in recent years from bands like Anthrax and Death Angel, but they're old men who've been doing this a long time. There's a band I like called War Curse who are from somewhere like Iowa, but they're not on Power Trip's level.

Jesus Piece is great, but i doubt theyre gonna be the scene movers like power trip. thrash metal is a dying breed and nobody is poised to step up

The body of his work over the last four years is staggering on its own. I don’t know how one can give all of themselves to any job like that while battling cancer.

Tom Seaver - complications from dementia.

In his prime, as good as anyone in baseball.  The original Tom Terrific.
