Somehow we all failed to note that Jim Steinman died in April. I only just found out today.

Kurvers should always have a soft place in the heart of a Devils fan.

Both for his incredible run in the 88 playoffs, and for being the bargaining chip used to trade with the Maple Leafs and acquire the pick used to draft Scotty Neidermayer.

I remember all this.  Golden years of the NHL (for me anyway).

Kurvers was recently an Asst.GM for the Wild......and was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2019.  Yikes.

Apparently all of Hogan's opponents from Wrestlemania 1-6 are now dead. Sgt Slaughter must be shitting himself (and yes I had to google that).

Holy excrement, that is depressing.

That's also well done on your part in terms of figuring that out, that blows my mind. It's true, from that six year window, they're all gone.

And yet for Hulk, the beat goes on as he looks like some sort of leathery Zeus.

It was a thing I saw on Facebook. I just googled who he matched up with in Wrestlemania 7.
