Dave Not Coming Back is very good. Not cheerful.

Is Dear Zachary gonna freak me up? I’m at work right now, not sure I want to feel that way in public.

This Place Rules is very much worth 1.5 hours of your time.

I’ve been meaning to see this, it’s been popping up on a bunch of IG stories lately.

How about Dark Days or Feels Good Man? Dark Days is intriguing because I used to work around there and it’s apparently scored by DJ Shadow, but it’s kinda old and Feels Good Man just seems interesting and has a pretty high rating.

I haven't seen it but I know you shouldn't watch it at work.

So it's better than the trailer's dcm-level "wow both sides are crazy" vibe?

Watched Don’t Pick Up the Phone and came away from it baffled and angry. I don’t want to put up any spoilers (yet) but, for those that have seen it, that Nix guy knew exactly what he was doing, no way he didn’t.

Saw Dear Zachary last week and it was good. I guess I’ve watched a ton of crime docs and dateline because I thought it was a solidly made doc that obviously showed how flawed the system was. It was obviously very emotional but I find with true crime type stuff, that is often the case. In retrospect, I feel like I should have seen the twist coming but man…what a friggin’ waste of human life that lady was. How can you do a thing like that?

Aftershock: Everest and the Nepal Earthquake on Netflix is a remarkable piece of documentary making. It covers three regions that were affected by the Earthquake in 2015, including Everest Base Camp, and has a ton of footage. The most amazing thing is the human stories - I don't want to give anything away but some things go in directions I absolutely did not expect. Highly recommend.
