Because they made changes to a team that hasn't had a winning record in 4 years?

Changes are fine, but getting rid of good people is why we haven't won and why we won't win. And they never learn.

How can anyone fight a dude with a terrific ear ring.

All Jets gear has been put away until 2020.

Do you know how ignorant that sounds? We havent done excrement the last four years, but now you are acting like we just fired Jesus. Yes, theres a chance the Jets can be worse than they were the last 4 years, but if thats what you are scared of, then you have no business making any important decisions and that is certainly not a mind set that gets you a ring. Prolonging mediocrity is just living in purgatory- freak that

We had the ability to fix what's wrong, a lack of talent, with tons of cap money and a high pick. Fixing what isn't wrong by firing the most competent person in the organization moves us further from that goal, not closer.

the most competent person in the organization

This is the same person that called a reverse pass to Geno Smith yesterday
He shook my hand breed tub and walked away

In fairness he did also call the fake punt.
Teams that draft well do so no matter where they pick. Teams that draft poorly do so no matter where they pick I want my team to win games and draft well

And the fake punt apparently. Philbin is keeping his job too, which is good for us. But that's what it looks like when a team quits on its coach.

But it was Thomas McGaughey's play design

kudos to him for having the stone to make that call though

If he knew he ws being fired anyway it really didn't. But I'm glad he did, it helped us beat Miami.

If you have a shitty QB it doesn't matter who you get to "develop" him. Sanchez only played 16 college games, his own coach said he wasn't ready for the pros and we managed to win four road playoff games with him. Now he plays for the great offensive guru Chip Kelly who everyone here has a big hard on for and he's the same QB. He can do some good things but then will turn the ball over and kill you. So I guess the Eagles better fire Chip Kelly. Maybe we can get him to develop Geno and further make my point.

lol wut

Why didn't the Packers cut Everyone back in 94 when they picked up Kurt Warner as a UDFA??  He was so good.

Haha. You didn't make one. You think QBs come out of college and are who they are forever. It's actually the most nonsensical thing I've ever seen posted here.

If you don't have the talent to be a good NFL QB no amount of coaching is going to give it to you. If you have talent that can be developed, sure, Rex didn't have QBs who are ever going to be that good no matter who coaches them. Sanchez is exhibit A.

If you can't see what point Cane is trying to make then I dont know what to say.
