Rather him go there than the Raiders or the Bears. although now the HC pool has gotten even thinner.
My dad always says he's undefeated at tailgating

Maybe it's not I who doesn't know what he's talking about

Why would you care if he landed in Oakland or Chicago?

Apparently Harbaugh turned down that monster $49 mill deal from Michigan because he didn't want to be the highest paid coach. Taking $35 mill from them

Because the Jets have been spectators while much better HC candidates have gone to other franchises in Bruce Arians, Chip Kelly, Andy Reid, and Harbaugh the first time around. Would rather see him in college than some other team get him.

Wait what?

They're reporting the deal at 7 years, 5 mill per year, plus incentives.

Saban makes 7.2 per year, the deal first proposed to Harbaugh would have paid him 8 per.

Harbaugh turned down more money so they could pay the assistants. He turned down the opportunity to be the highest paid College Football Coach.

Ok that makes sense. Just turning down money for the hell of it does not.
