I don't think that's WTF at all. Denying an individual the ultimate agency over the one thing that we all truly own is a heinous concept. I would much rather people who have tried and rejected treatment and help be able to give up their lives in a gentle, humane and controlled environment of their own choosing, than be left with the choice of ongoing suffering or a list of hideous ways of ending it.

“I’ll take the check please”
 (or should I go Dutch?)

I'm not anti-euthanasia but this particular case seems weird. Another article I read made it sound like her doctors said "well we tried everything might as well KYS". I suppose if the alternative is her committing suicide on her own then it is what it is, but I really can't wrap my head around it.

Of course I generally understand why someone struggling with mental health issues might resort to suicide but this person seems well-supported.

It came off as ”is she really and truly at the end of her ‘support rope’?”

Just for starters, maybe turn over a new leaf by changing her name from the deathly and ghoulish-sounding Zoraya ter Beek <—wtf?) to I dunno, Emma van Something??

Always wondered how many of those who e.g. jumped off the Golden Gate Bridge had 2nd thoughts one second into their ‘flight’ …

My dad always says he's undefeated at tailgating

Maybe it's not I who doesn't know what he's talking about

How down bad you gotta be to freak a giant lizard

I've never gone to bed with a giant lizard but I've woken up with one or two.
