The 12-man committee has their own poll, which isn't the AP poll. Florida State hasn't been #1 in that for about a month. That's the only poll that really matters.

The AP poll is still great for historical notes, but in terms of current relevance, the College Football Playoff poll is the only one that really matters. That won't get released til tomorrow at 7:00 PM. And it doesn't seem like the AP poll plays any role in their rankings (as it shouldn't).

Alright,  makes sense. I watch the games, but the other stuff is just that, other stuff.

I just assumed that they would be taking the top 25 polls into account because the NCAA is stupid. Thanks for the tidbit.
