Jets at Dolphins in London confirmed as October 4 2015

That's great one hurdle out of the way.

Im a 2. Cant seriously contemplate it until Ive got a date and ticket cost. Ive got lodging over there so plane and ticket should be pretty feasible.

I'll be aiming to co-ordinate my annual trip back to see family and friends in order to coincide with the game, I'll obviously not need accommodation or anything though.

I'm a 1.5 but closer to a 1.  Luckily, next week I will have 5 weeks of vacation time so an extra few days overseas won't kill me.

It's right in the middle of fall baseball and soccer seasons but the kids will understand, Dad's gotta' go.

Following up, any idea as to how extreme the tickets will be priced?  I really can't complain though because with every game I've been to at the stadium the seats have always been comped.

Is that a possibility for you in London?

"Honey, I want to go somewhere special for our anniversary! Let's go to London."

When you get there just act surprised the Jets are playing.

I had several annoyed parents when I got to practice yesterday.  Apparently the assistant coach wasn't sure what he was doing and we lost by a goal.  That's what I get for leaving during the season.  I said "They're 7.  Does it really matter?"

Also, staying in Central London is a sham unless you feel like dumping cash unnecessarily. There are loads of great places no more than a half hour train ride to the centre of London where the hotel prices will be a fraction of the price.

Just had availability confirmed for a really great house on the outskirts of London - sleeps eight- looks really tidy- $250 per head.

This is just an example but please believe me these prices will treble and go North in a hurry next year.

Heathrow will have the most flights into it. Gatwick may have cheaper options and is really easy to get to London from. Luton and Stansted probably don't do transatlantic.

You could also look into Birmingham and at a stretch Manchester, but both would require at least a couple of hours on a train to get to London and you might find that savings would be eaten up by train costs.
