This speculation is bad and you should feel bad

Giving up a player we dont need, for a player that we do need is bad speculation?

Id rather see us go out and get Chad freaking Henne than watch Geno play the last 8 weeks

Because guys like Rex and MM might want to actually try to keep their jobs.

And we dont even necessarily have to trade draft picks.

Maybe trade Cumberland, Johnson, Bilal to a team that has a need

The only guys I can even think of that might be available are Blaine Gabbert and Christian ponder. Those guys suck, why would you trade for them that's retarded especially since they wouldn't be better than what we have?

When the season is completely over, why would you give up assets for a non-asset?

It's a freaking retarded argument because you're arguing a hypothetical on top of a hypothetical. In a game thread.

Jake Locker  too maybe?

Because we might not be in position to acquire a QB after this season. Nobody knows who is available and how good theyll be.

Hell we might even be able to find a guy that could be a legitimate #2 qb in the future.

Not to mention you cant let Geno make every guy on this team beg to be cut

He's almost as bad as Geno Smith

Yes he is, but if we're just talking about filling a jersey for half a season I'd rather pick up a excrement player for free than trade for a excrement player.

If we had to trade for someone, Locker would be the obvious one.

You don't give up assets for no freaking reason. That's basically a rule. The Harvin trade was done not because we think he's going to help us win 9 straight, but because he can be a player for us next year as well.

None of those guys should even be #2 QBs in this league save for Locker. But he is hurt. Trading for him now when he will be cut in 3 months is stupid sign him to be our #2 then.

Our offense being an abomination you can blame on the QB

but our defensive sceondary getting eviscerated deep every week is awful

Who says Chris Johnson wont be cut in a year or two anyway?

Bilal is an UFA and probably doesnt get resigned.

We have Amaro to overtake Cumberland.

Its not like these guys are young blossoming assets that have long term value here.

They're all players that arent in the long term plans anyway, so getting rid of them doesnt make a shred of a difference

Why would we repurpose someone's QB failure as our own?

Let's be perfectly clear here. No one is trading for our offensive scraps. Our offense is a disgrace to offense. Why on earth would anybody give up a QB for a guy that barely plays 15 snaps a game for us? They wouldn't, therefore they would only trade them for a draft pick. Which would be retarded of us to give up.

There are only 3 players on this offense anyone would trade for, Jace Amaro, Eric Decker and Chris Ivory. Mangold and brick are making too much money (decker might be too) for a team to consider trading for them at this point.

Somebody's been writing "Hammer Time" on the stop signs around these parts. No joke.
