Internal clock is going to move a lot faster for him.  With experience, he will learn to extend plays at the right time. 

Smart play is what he needs to do now though.

I'm convinced Dierdorf rambles he entire game and CBS just turns his mic on and off throughout the game in 10 second intervals.
