The problem with these theories about any Machiavellian scheming that Idzik is up to is that it would require balls big enough to be pushed around in a wheelbarrow for a new GM to attempt, and I don't think that's Idzik. I think he's playing scared, being an NFL general manager is a huge job anywhere and in New York it's monstrous. It's too big a job for him; this should never have been given to a rookie.
