2014 Remaining Undefeated and Winless Teams
« on: September 21, 2014, 11:12:50 PM »
Undefeated:

Bengals
Eagles
Cardinals

Winless:

Jaguars
Raiders
Buccaneers

Bengals are coming up on a gauntlet after their bye week. @NE, CAR, @IND, BAL. I don't think they'll make it through that unscathed.

Eagles travel to SF next week so that'll be tough but if they win, they have a few softer weeks before facing ARI in week 8.

Cardinals have a bye then go to DEN. Not expecting them to pull that off.

Bucs look fucked. Their most winnable games are MIN and @CLE, and neither are going to be easy for them. The rest of the teams on their schedule don't really have an excuse for losing to TB.

I think Jacksonville will win a game before the end of October. Oakland should win something before the end of November.

Marvin Lewis is about .500 coming off the bye.  Let's hope he improves on that against New England.  That team is so freaking spastic.  I honestly have no idea how good they are.

They'll lose on a goddamn safety in OT.

Andy Dalton should be in a full body cast after yesterday... He got incredibly lucky on that QB toss back trick play.

No Question!!

In the last 4/5 years the Bengals have made some excellent choices on draft day.

Their offense is excellent with an average offensive line at best and a Good QB, not a great one just yet.  Some of their skill position players they have added were some of my favorites in College......AJ, Gio, Sanu, Tyler E & Marvin Jones.

The Bengals defense is outstanding, especially the front 7. I liked to see them add another piece to their secondary.

The Bucs shocked the world and the Eagles couldn't pull off the West coast win.

Neither of whom will likely be drafting a QB in the first round next year, I would think.

I don't understand. Jacksonville drafted a QB in the top 5. Why aren't they good? Isn't that how teams get good?

I was looking ahead for potential trade partners. But in answer to the question, I think so. After all, look what happened last time we took a QB in the top 5.

Their roster is terrible and young right now. If they draft well over the next two years and don't get Bortles killed, they will be fine.

Oakland on the other hand is so incredibly bad, and is really old. They have no future to look forwards too right now.
Need a new one for a new board...

I would expect Oakland is the more viable trading partner, as they are old, have almost no viable assets, and will be desperate for every additional draft pick they can get. Then again the new staff in Oakland may well want their own QB instead of Carr. So they may sit put and take their own guy and try to recoup some assets with Carr.
