Got round to seeing Nope. Liked it a lot but thought it was Peele's third best movie. Can't stop thinking about it today though and I want to watch it again.

No movie is improved by seeing it with other people.

I keep seeing it compared to Malignant which seems like bullshit. This was scary, Malignant was the most unintentionalally funny things I have ever seen.

I keep seeing praise for Malignant and cannot understand why. That third act was completely fuckin bonkers. My wife and I were dying in the theater.

The most entertaining thing about Malignant was the How Did This Get Made episode on it.

Red Letter Media also has an amazing Half in the Bag session for it.

I don't get it, either. The entire first act was just a generic thriller horror movie and the twist was a massive LOL moment. I think it's just people who like camp a little too much.

Absolutely fine, thank you.

I have no idea why other people's noises, movements, emanations or anything else would enhance your experience of watching a movie. There is nothing that anyone else could say or do during a movie that would be anything other than a distraction or an annoyance to me. I recently went to the theatre to watch a movie for the first time in years (Top Gun Maverick); I had to pay to park, pay to get in, miss five minutes of the movie because I needed a pee, and all the while surrounded by other people. In every single way it would have been a far more enjoyable experience watching it at home.

I doubt I'll ever watch a movie at the theatre again.

I'm amazed that you enjoy the tailgate experience. Being surrounded by people must be agony for you....how do you survive?
