SC has a great player at each level of their defense with Williams, Pullard, and Cravens.

Side note, Arkansas is doing silly things to Nicholls St. 20 plays, 9 minutes if possession in the first half, but are winning 56-0 and have 425 of offense. They have 5 one play TD drives.

And I've never seen a crazier swing of emotion than the last three plays.

So there was just a targeting ejection in the USC Stanford game. The announcers are calling it textbook, but it just looked like a high tackle to me.

The problem was that he didn't bring his arms with him. It looked like he was launching his helmet straight at the returner's helmet. I don't think that was the intention, but Pullard has to be smarter than that. I think he got to Montgomery faster than he thought he would and was just too slow to react.

It seemed to me (,even in slow motion) that right after his head hit the facemask of Montgomery he shoved him with his arms.

That said his AD did come down to protest the ejection which I thought was hilarious, like the refs are going to overturn an ejection because the AD showed up to bitch

That was a pretty bad chop block call.  IMO.  Wasn't the blitzer coming free, and the Guard had not yet made contact?

How can you call a chop block on the RB when the OG hadn't hit the blitzer until after he got cut blocked?

Even the explanation of the ruling they just made was gay.

Josh Shaw is a very good player as well.  The life-saver story will always haunt him though.

It'd be mildly hilarious if Stanford scores a TD here given the ridiculous number of times they have fucked up and begged USC to take this game from them.
