2014-15 English Premier season

Meet the new Manchester United, same as the old Manchester United.

After 45 minutes, at least.

It would be amusing to see them losing but for the fact that I freaking hate Swansea.

Yes. Aside from scoring the winning goal (off a great pass from Kane), he marked his man well consistently the entire match and kept his spikes outside the 18 and held his ground well. Very poised for a 20-year-old. Between him and Davies, the future certainly looks brighter at fullback than it has in years for Spurs.

I'm on the Danny Ings hype train for Burnley. Interested to see how he fares against Chelsea tomorrow.

He found a good partnership last year with Vokes, but they won't get anything like as much space in the Premier League. I will be surprised if Ings gets into double figures. He's a tidy player but nothing special.

Liverpool looking to rebrand after moving on from Suarez with notable good guy Mario Balotelli. Sounds fun.

Balotelli isn't a bad guy so much as he's a complete headcase. I quite liked him until this point, obviously now he's playing for the scouse filth he can go freak himself.

Yeah, I generally agree. Infuriating to watch over the past six months because he's been playing like he's completely stopped caring. Still will be interesting to see how he'll fit back in with the EPL.

Maybe playing in that incredibly racist country had something to do with that.

Di Maria to United seems more and more real. Their central defending is absolutely pathetic against Sunderland, Di Maria should be able to slot into the middle there and be an immediate improvement.

MK Dons beat Man U 4-0. Man U beat Real Madrid preseason. Therefore, MK Dons are better than the champions league champs.

Having watched the 'highlights' from that game, I remain committed to my belief that Di Maria playing in the back three would be a remarkable upgrade for United.

Angel Di Maria isn't going to be playing in the back three, he's a midfielder.
