Eli gets in because of his SuperBowl wins over the Pats. Similar to Namath for us with his SuperBowl guarantee in SBIII. There is some value to “can you write the history of the league without ____ player in it” and in this case Eli is a major bullet point.

He’ll get in and I’m OK with it but at face value I don’t think he belongs.

Rivers 2006 Chargers team was better than that second Giants super bowl team.

A lot of teams were. Our 2010 team the year before that was way better.
So it turns out, Italian Seafood was right an everyone can go freak themselves.

2 plays go different in the Super Bowls and Eli has zero rings and an otherwise mediocre career.

Same can be said for most of Brady's rings, but not his career.

I guess the question is should Phillip Rivers be a HOFer and does Eli get in over him

I once saw a comparison of Namath and Vinny's careers, Vinny tops him in everything except that one game in Miami when Namath won the Super Bowl. Fair or not, it matters.

Rivers was better but was stuck with a consistently mediocre franchise.

If Rivers gets in are you going to Canton to confuse people?

Joe Judge adamant about everyone getting an equal shot and starting at the ground level. He won’t publicly commit to Daniel Jones as his starting QB or Saquon Barkley as the starting RB. “No ones got a spot,” he said.

Maybe it's not I who doesn't know what he's talking about

He literally makes millions on his rookie contract and steals $60,000 of watches and tries to get a guy killed.

Forfeiting more money by doing this than by just not committing robbery. Same goes for Dunbar
