At least half of USMNT plays overseas, so they're making bank. The ones playing in the MLS are the better ones in the league, and therefore largely the better paid ones. Some may not be getting a million a year, but the very lowest paid is making at least a quarter million from their clubs before you factor in any endorsement deals and extraneous income. There aren't many guys there not worth seven figures.

Zardes makes just under $200k.  In Los Angeles.  That's a far cry from being a millionaire.

Julian Green pulls $2 mil plus, but he's not on the team for Gold Cup.

Not seeing a problem here. Also, he's 23 and an international footballer who scores goals for fun. Give him a couple of years to develop and he'll make plenty.

I was just commenting on the lowest paid making $250k.  He makes less than $200k in an expensive area.  Of course he'll make more.

Jordan Morris makes a lot less than even Zardes!

Big win for Colombia over Brazil, 1-0.

Haven't seen this many happy Colombians since, well, since last weekend actually. Fuckers are always partying.
So it turns out, Italian Seafood was right an everyone can go freak themselves.

It was big, but Colombia announced its arrival in a big way in the World Cup and is already ranked higher than Brazil.  In 2018 that team is going to be in contention.

I can't work out what the hell it is about Colombians that makes them such party animals.

No Messi and no Neymar for the Barca tour.  I have tickets for Tuesday that I'm not trying to unload.  Went to Gerrard's first MLS game last night which was great despite Galaxy missing a few key players to Copa Oro.
