Donovan off of the US World Cup roster, but I'm excited to see what Green and Yedlin can do.

Green's a heck of a talent but probably won't see much playing time in this WC. I suspect that his being selected in the squad was a condition of his recent decision to represent the US.

Probably. I think he'll get put into the Portugal game at least as a sub because he can run with their mids, but I highly doubt he gets PT against Germany or Ghana.

Johansson is really exciting. Scores 1 in 2 and isn't even a centre forward. Obviously the WC is a very different proposition to the Danish league, but the goal is the same size in every competition.

LD is done. Not surprising at all. Turn the page. Dempsey's a bit of a poacher but at least he still has his legs.

I'd be surprised to see this team advance past the 1st round, but you never know.

Though it's tough for me to get into the world cuo, I want to see the U.S do well just to pee off some Englishmen and other Europeans who have explicitly told me that they always root against the U.S because the last thing they want is to see us dominate soccer. What would make it even worse is that no one in the U.S will give a excrement either.

If that would pee off the Europeans, then sign me the freak up.
