So if we take a WR, it should be at 10

may not be a wideout worth taking at 10

Was listening to the MTS podcast and there was an interesting segment where they discussed the bust rate of WR. Essentially what DJ and Brooks did was go through WR drafted over the past couple of years starting with 2022 and the outcome was most WR taken outside the top 10 were basically meh. Of course there were a few exceptions (Jefferson and Nacua) but they are far and few between.

So if we take a WR, it should be at 10...otherwise take a flyer in the later rounds

Takeaways from Jets GM Joe Douglas' press conference:

- Sounds like they're open to selecting Georgia TE Brock Bowers. Douglas said the right "tight end can be a real weapon."

- Douglas didn't sound too convincing they would pick up Alijah Vera-Tucker's fifth-year option.

-Douglas called Haason Reddick an "electric presence."

According to Douglas, Zach Wilson is welcome to participate in the offseason program. He won't speculate on whether Wilson will be on the team in July.

We need Minnesota to stay put at 11 and McCarthy to drop to us...that should light the fuse for some team to trade up to our spot.  I would expect Denver to try to jump ahead of Minny.

Is Medieval Times worth going to for a family with kids? Looking at the one in Lyndhurst. I don't love the ticket price but if you factor in the show it might be novel to do it once.

We did a birthday party for my youngest there like 10 years ago. It was fun enough. The show is okay, it's amusing to get into the cheering for "your knight", and you eat a big turkey leg.

I don't think we'd ever do it again, but as a one time, it was okay.

Worst attempt at a smokescreen by a GM ever.

Unless he's talking about being a backup QB factory and taking one in the 4th round.
