Didn't add week 1 or the December games because I don't think we want to do any of those as the main tailgate. Vote now.

Those are my preferences as well but I could probably do all of the others. I actually quite want to do the Bears game. I don't especially want to see us against the Bills or Patriots again, I've seen us v both a couple of times and their fans are cunts.

I'm almost certainly in for the Denver game. Been planning on going to that game all offseason, and the date works for me.
I doubt I'll be coming home for a weekend during NFL season outside of the Christmas Thursday game, which would likely be with family.

I have an apt with an orthopedic surgeon (shoulder) this morning. I chose week 3, because i was planning on scheduling surgery for early Oct.
Depending on what he tells me in regards to rehab time, maybe i can push the surgery back to November. Thus allowing me to change my vote.
Then you and I can finally sing Dokken tunes in the parking lot together.

Thanks dude...me too. i used to do sets of 220-240 on the bench, but now i can't even push the bar thanks to my shoulder. Hopefully it can be fixed.

I play hockey 3 or 4 times a week. I just had 3 months off due to shoulder dislocation and a labrum tear. Inactivity sucks balls.........don't let anything stop you and for F sakes stop sounding like the tongue (FYI my Dad who will attend the tailgate)-he's 80! lol
Edit: This sounds crazy, but the weather in early October is usually better than late September because of Indian Summer. That fact, plus I would like to meet Coach K is why I picked the Fins weekend. Other than that, I can make any week.

My biggest issue with this is that Bo can't make it but I feel like he has long enough to figure out the excrement that is currently making him say no to this one in order to make him say yes. Because it will still be a tailgate if Bo isn't there, but I think he might be the most committed out of towner over the last decade or so.

Most years I can make pretty much anything, but it seems like this year, the few commitments I have are only during Jets home games. freak Goodell.
I'll probably go to a different game later in the year, maybe Dec 18th, not sure. Can catch up with anyone who might be around then.

Disney cruise, so it's snot-nosed germ-infested kids. And probably covid. At least there will be a cool water slide.
I'll let you know when I'm headed up. My son likes the games now (I'm slow-playing forcing him into the misery of Jets fandom), so if it's cold weather I might compromise and get club level tickets so he can go inside as an alternative to whining to me that it's cold.

With 9 already committed you should pull the trigger - you’ll definitely get a 10th taker. I would myself however I had to commit months back to securing a MetLife 50 Club group package (family, i.e. uncle delavan as tix santa). That said (and assuming I’ll be in the same parking lot neck of the woods), I plan on making an extra batch of “bowl of red” (authentic made from scratch Tx chili) and lugging it over.
Recipe:
1. In 2 separate Dutch ovens, make the ‘bowl of red’ in one pot and beans in the other pot.
2. When done, throw out the pot of beans and eat the Tx chili the way it was meant to be eaten.
