Every year I watch the playoffs reminds me that the Jets cannot rebuild to compete at this level in a year or 2. Even if everything goes right, we'd be lucky to even make the playoffs. It's sad that I'm more of a "not anyone else in the AFC East" fan at this point since the Jets have no chance.
I'd be happy to have one of these pass catchers going off tonight and these teams are running 3-4 of them out there.

This off-season is the time to get it right and make a jump. 1 more year of letting all these guys develop and get experience while they learn how to win. Then 2023 is the time to make a serious push for the divisional round and beyond. If we aren’t doing that, I think it’s likely this off-season did not go well for us

But after next season their cap situation has a nuclear meltdown. Mahomes will still be Mahomes, he just won't have the most talent in the league surrounding him much longer

Allen throws the 5, 10, and 15 yard out better than any QB prospect I've seen since Jay Cutler. That thing is humming.
If he gets a supporting cast and some protection, I believe in him. But he is definitely a boom-or-bust prospect.

I think you missed my point. None of the free agent signing were huge splashes. They were small improvements here and there. Aside from diggs.
Also, that's quite the cherry pick. All of their impact defensive starters were drafted except Micah Hyde who was also a bargain fa signing.
