Mediocre player benefiting from the team he's on, IMO. Doesn't catch or block. Isn't very fast. Isn't particularly elusive. Isn't a dominant north-south runner.
He's not bad. He's just not stand out good at anything.

He's certainly not mediocre. He's the starting running back on one of the best teams in college football. He is a true power back, which this team has lacked for years.
I'd take him in the fourth round, no question.

He's starting because Dobbins left, and I don't think Dobbins is great either. Teague will maybe be OK in the NFL, but I put it no higher. He will be as good as the line in front of him will allow him to be which I accept is true of most backs, but he's nothing special.

I saw someone say that Greg Roman is like the Ryan Fitzpatrick of OCs. He'll go somewhere, do really well, everyone will start to believe, and then he'll turn back into his former self.
That's what's happening in Baltimore right now. They've been figured out.

OK, but that's pretty much my point. Dobbins did really well in a really good offensive scheme with lots of spread and option plays designed to create big holes. Then he goes to a scheme that isn't functioning so well and he looks pretty average. Teague isn't the player that Dobbins was; he's getting to take advantage of a well run offense in a weak division, but he's not doing it by himself.
He might be a perfectly functional back in the NFL, but he's almost certainly a JAG. I'll bet you can find someone who does what he does two or three rounds later than the fourth without any problem.

Dobbins is averaging 5.4 yards per carry in the NFL. What are we even talking about.
It's amazing Teague had an Achilles injury in the spring, and he's still looking this good.

I am very curious to see where Cash Money Trillionaire gets drafted. He’s got size and athleticism makes some absurd plays in coverage. Yet he isn’t consistent enough and has been dealing with injuries during his career.
