In-N-Out out of these choices, which I was surprised to see in Austin. We have a chain called P-Terry's here and it is upper class drunk fast food. Very similar to In-N-Out, but with better buns and fries.
And if anyone brings up Whataburger, die in a grease fire. That place is incredibly overrated.

the best part about five guys fries isn't the actual fries itself, it's that you buy a small cup of fries and they fill your whole bag with fries. it's good value for just a side piece. as has been mentioned before, unless you're talking about ungodly fries, the fries don't make/break the burger, the burger makes/breaks the burger.Five Guys is my favorite food for a road trip. If I have a 4-hour drive or something, give me a Five Guys burger and an endless bag of fries.

5 guys is the only decent burger available in canada, so mb gets some slack there.
they have the best bacon there, crispy and never soggy like in n out gives you

I haven't had Shake Shack for the same reason as others: F lines.
Smashburger is better than all the rest I've seen mentioned in this thread. But their fries suck. And for me, fries matter more than the burger. I don't think burgers are all that good. Chop meat is pretty gross.

Obama runs centrist deep to his core. I believe he does want things to change, but his view of change is slow, deliberate, and thoughtful. His personality is as un-radical as they come, and he fundamentally believes in broad coalition building. Obama undercuts progressives because he's afraid that their policies are too radical for the United States, because he's a centrist with no sincere interest in advocating to bring progressive policies into the mainstream of the Democratic party, despite no longer having any election-related skin in the game. He could do the work of trying move the party to embrace progressive policies, and broaden the appeal of those policies, but instead focuses his energy and rhetoric in an attempt to placate his perception of the mainstream electorate.

The program clearly sounds like it wasn't well thought out.
But I'd say the biggest beneficiaries was probably also the people who lived in those housing tenanments that now didn't have all these criminals living with them.(and judging by the demographics of the program its a safe assumption these are disproportionately black beneficiaries)
I also love how the author makes it sound like some crimes are "okay"
They were only breaking into cars and stealing change, no reason they should have gotten punished for it.
Also I highly question this people being forced out and homeless nonsense.
In most of the country it's freaking impossible to get a bad tenant out. Yet I'm supposed to believe someone was waving a magic wand and these people became homeless?

It is legal for landlords to run criminal record checks on applicants up here. There are companies who will do it for you. I have no idea why.
I think there should be a government run service for landlords and property managers with multi-unit buildings to pay a fee and submit an applicant's details, and the service confirm whether the applicant is legally considered a housing related risk i.e. unspent convictions for sexual offences, especially against children, or for dealing significant quantities of drugs. Otherwise the search comes back with a green light. No other information should be provided as it's not of relevance.

Mid-atlantic is kinda the compromise. Gets us out of the south, in the right time zone and reasonable cost of living (looking in Penn, Delaware, Maryland area)
Wisconsin because my best friend moved there recently and has been selling it hard to us. We need to visit it some time in early 2023.

The videos of the Nichols case just went public tonight, and by all accounts it sounds like those officers are all going to be severely fucked
They were already charged with murder.

Hmmm…harboring sick thoughts (murder, rape, cannibalism) inside one’s own sick mind and keeping it to oneself is one thing but engaging others on chat sites is kinda ‘going public’ a la the proverbial crying “fire!” in a crowded theater sense. Great recall. The name Gilberto Valle conjured up images of some pinky-ringed, gold necklace-festooned lounge lizzard appearing at Mohegan Sun but yes, he was the ghoul whi had his jury conviction overturned by the judge.Valle and I are alumni of the same high school so his name never faded from memory. An NYPD cop was busted for allegedly sharing a picture of a crime suspect’s debit card as part of an identity theft scheme, authorities said Wednesday.
Officer Andy Urrutia, 24, is accused of snapping a photo of the card, belonging to a woman arrested in March, and of then sending the picture to several accomplices — including one who tried to use the card at a Starbucks, according to Bronx prosecutors.
“Lunch on me, guys,” the cop allegedly wrote in a group chat where he shared the image on March 23, 2023, four days after the woman’s arrest on unspecified charges, according to a criminal complaint.
