Just once I’d like to be competitive. I mean for fucks sake over the past decade it’s basically been them blowing our doors off while our QB shits his pants repeatedly. If we are even remotely in the game we pretty much win.
I love Sam, but after tonight, every offensive human in this franchise needs to dig deep and work their motherfucking asses off. This shouldn’t ever happen again.
I don’t even want to think I’m asking a lot by just being in the game in the second half. I’m not asking for 16-0, I’m not asking for the playoffs he’ll I’m not even asking for 6-10. I just want to be remotely competitive in games. So far we are 1-5 and only 2 games we were even “in” at any point in the second half.
The mantra of “just look like you belong on the same field” is my new thing for the rest of this season. We’ve already sat through 4 non competitive blowouts (multiple at home...) and as much as I want to hope that’s done, I can still see more happening as the season goes on

I get we were sucking chunks, but Sam was a big reason why. Bell has 15 carries for 70 yards (4.9 ypc). Frankly in an effort to provide Sam any kind of relief the ball should have been ha fed off more, especially once it was clear we weren’t winning, and just needed any kind of positivity/points.
