Fair enough, Luvu, Basham, and Polite isn’t the worst group of backups. We’ve had worse in recent years.

Wouldn't you run him more in this scenario? Since he's going to have 4 weeks off and you don't want to injure the guy starting the first 4 games

Not if you aren’t sure who his replacement is (and we as fans sure aren’t sure) and/or you want to get the new guy run with the ones
