Jets trade down to 9, get a 2nd-round pick this year and a 2nd-round pick next year.

Jets draft Jawaan Taylor in round 1 and Jachai Polite in round 2.

oof, considering we spent three 2nd rounders to move up 3 spots, I would not be pleased with that compensation.

Last year was a quarterback draft. This isn't a quarterback draft. We aren't going to get the same return as we gave up last year.

I understand. We also wouldn't be dealing with 3 spots, we'd be dropping 6 spots.
Bills going up from 6 to 3 for a non-QB? Great, I wouldn't expect the same haul of three 2nd-rounders.
