The Athletic's Bruce Feldman reports that Miami HC Mark Richt is retiring.

Big job opening in college football.

Pretty sure Miami forced Richt's hand.

Would be funny if Manny Diaz reneged on Temple and became Miami's coach.

I would LOVE Rex at Miami. Talking mad excrement to Dabo. Leading Miami to the Playoff in his first 2 seasons. Saying his defense is the only one that can stop Clemson. They could change the turnover chain to the turnover foot. It would be a lot of fun.

The worst part about early signing day is that most coaching changes will happen after it, and now a ton of kids will be locked into LOIs at those schools and the guys they signed up for to play there, won't even be around when they get to campus.

Same excrement could happen at Oklahoma or Iowa State if either Riley or Campbell get NFL gigs
