And anyone could see Hackenberg wasn't an NFL quarterback if they watched him play in college. He shouldn't have even been drafted based on his tape. And we spent a 2nd-round pick on him. That pick was a fireable offense by itself. And I can't get too mad at a 4th-round pick, but he also traded up to draft a 24-year old project in Bryce Petty who was almost as inaccurate as Hackenberg and didn't even know what a Mike linebacker was.

I have to give credit to the Bills' staff with Josh Allen. Since Allen became the starter, he's top 5 in the NFL in rushing, and he's also 1st in air yards per attempt. Bills are riding the Josh Allen experience for better or worse and playing to his strengths. Meanwhile, the Jets have no idea how to develop a young quarterback.
