Title: The Hefty Lefty
Post by: bojanglesman on July 18, 2018, 09:09:08 AM
E:60 will have a special on Jared Lorenzen this Sunday AM.  Apparently he ballooned up to 500 lbs. recently and is trying to lose weight.  I will probably watch this if I remember.

One of the greatest fat athletes ever

There should be a hall of fame for this distinction.  Hall of Fat.  John Daly and Tony Gwynn would be at the top for me.

Baseball is a bit too obvious, but you have to put Big Sexy in there.

Jan Molby won't mean much to many of you, but he deserves recognition as well. Not as fat as the guys mentioned so far, but to play central midfield in the top flight of English football with a chunky beer belly and still be one of the best players on the park on any given day takes some talent.

Shaq is probably the top of the list, but I'd say a strong argument could be made for David Ortiz.

I like John Daly because he gives less than zero fucks.  Mullet, fat gut, crazy 80s pants, smokes while playing.  He's America's golfer.

Tony Gwynn was awesome too.  His gut would hang over his pants like he was going to fall over and he was still one of the best pure hitters in baseball history. He looked like a 60 year old plumber and still hit .330 every year.

July 19th 2018. Forever to be remembered as the day that Alio said something vaguely positive about the Red Sox.

David Ortiz was a PED-abusing, cheating queynte. But a fat, power-hitting, PED-abusing, cheating queynte.

Yes, on TGG.

I would use him as a Wildcat QB.

This fat slob was till taking snaps at qb in arena league up until a few years ago. I give him credit, at his age and weight it's impressive he was able to still play.
