Documents accuse her of fondling patrons
But in a probable cause affidavit obtained by CNN affiliate WSYX, detectives who were at the Sirens Gentlemen's Club said they observed Daniels remove her top and force patrons' faces into her chest.
"The officers also observed Ms. Clifford fondling the breasts of female patrons," Franklin County Municipal Court records show.
When officers witnessed those activities, three detectives approached the stage. Daniels allegedly made her way toward two detectives, leaned over and grabbed their faces. She shoved each of their faces between her breasts, court documents said.
She fondled a third officer's buttocks and breasts, according to the documents. Daniels was one of three people arrested at the club, but it's unclear who the other two were.
CNN has reached out to the Columbus Police Department for more details.

Anheuser-Busch announced Tuesday that it will cut ties with Carson King, the Iowa State fan who has raised over $1 million for the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital, over multiple offensive social media posts he made.
King held a press conference Tuesday to discuss a controversial post. He said a reporter with the Des Moines Register called attention to an offensive social media post he made when he was 16 years old.
“Eight years ago, when I was a sophomore in high school, I made some social media posts with my friends that quoted and referenced the show ‘Tosh.0,’ King said. “One of those posts was brought to my attention by a member of the media today.”
DES MOINES, Iowa -- Aaron Calvin, the former Des Moines Register reporter who discovered racially-insensitive tweets by Carson King, has spoken out for the first time since his firing in an interview with BuzzFeed.
The Des Moines Register has heard from thousands of angry readers over the past few days following an article Calvin wrote that referenced 8-year-old tweets from King. Soon after the article was published Tuesday night, people started circulating offensive tweets written by Calvin on his own Twitter account.
In the interview with BuzzFeed, which was Calvin's former employer from 2013-14, Calvin said he felt is own tweets were "taken out of context" and were used to "wield disingenuous arguments against" him. But he did admit his tweets were "frankly embarrassing" and he wouldn't have published them today.

I thought the beer kid handled the situation perfectly. If we are forever judged by the stupid things we do as a teenager, we are all screwed. He didn't deny it. He acknowledged it and showed how he has changed. That, in conjunction with raising over $1 million for sick children, should allow him to be able to move on with his life.
I guess I sort of understand that the journalist was doing his job, but I bet he regrets how he went about it now. In retroscpect he probably should have gone to the kid first and gotten his response before putting that story up.

Convicted of sex crimes as a man, felon no longer deemed threat because of gender change
The Iowa Attorney General’s Office is no longer seeking the commitment of a former Midwest Christian Services student convicted of myriad sex crimes because the individual now identifies as a woman.
Court records show the state dismissed the application on Jan. 9. Attorney general spokesman Lynn Hicks wouldn’t comment on the reason for the dismissal other than to say “an offender’s hormone levels are an important part of substantiating an offender’s likelihood of recidivism.”
In November, the Storm Lake Times reported that Joseph Matthew Smith, a 23-year-old convicted of molesting a fellow MCS student in 2014, was “undergoing medical treatment that is needed prior to (Smith) potentially undergoing gender reassignment surgery.”
Smith has expressed a preference to identify as Josie, according to court documents.
“We don’t believe we have evidence sufficient to prove Josie Smith has a significant chance of reoffending,” Hicks said late last week.

A preliminary report prepared by the state’s expert, Dr. Jeffrey Davis, says Smith molested as many as 15 victims, ranging from ages 1 to 13, before being sentenced to prison in December 2015.

It's tough to parse through all the provocative language in the reports but it looks like he was convicted of two counts of molestation. And he's being released from a civil commitment unit that near as I can tell houses sex offenders after they have completed their sentence until they are deemed unlikely to repeat the offense.
This leads to the question "How the freak did a convicted child molester only get a 2-4 year sentence?" which is what people should rightfully be upset about. However, his release from the CCU seems like common practice. But "TRANNY'S ARE ABOVE THE LAW" gets more clicks.

The issue here is whether someone has formed their opinion by something they heard in passing, probably on TV or the radio, or doing any amount of digging around to find something better and giving it a chance. Same goes for every genre.
I hated country music growing up because my parents would listen to whatever was on the radio, and it was very boring, very predictable, "it all sounds the same". It wasn't until I put a little effort into finding something I liked that I was able to enjoy any of it.

You get bonus points at least for not following up with the usual response to "I don't like country music", which is "but what about Johnny Cash?" I enjoyed the movie but at least 50% of people who say that primarily know him for a song he didn't even write, and no, not even Johnny Cash.
There are bits of country music I hear that I don't object to, although music is often contextual and downtown Toronto which is where I spend 90% of my life doesn't really offer much relevant context for country music. I'm sure there is some that I would like, for example the one that Heismanberg linked, but I don't go places where it would be played and I don't care to make an effort to.

That doesn't make a lot of sense. You can't really launch a DDOS attack on a country, DDOS is focused on particular resources. If a country had a single service provider then you could but the US has vast distributed networks, you'd have to launch a mindboggling and frankly nigh on impossible amount of attack points to have any kind of significant impact upon the US overall. DDOS attacks happen every day and probably every minute for all sorts of reasons; do they mean that the US government is being hit by a concerted attack?

When my wife got back from Birthright/visiting her sister who was in Rabbinical school in Jerusalem, she decided to start wearing her yarmulke in the mostly white suburbs she teaches in to combat some actual anti-Semitism in her school district: repeated incidents of swastika and anti-Jewish graffiti/vandalism over several years and a high school sports team who had made up Nazi nicknames for each other. As a result I've gotten some weird casual anti-Semitism from neighbors who didn't previously know she was Jewish - a question from a supposedly fully functioning adult about if it's true she always has a bag of gold on her, memorably. She also came away from that trip incredibly disillusioned with Israeli propaganda and the casual apartheid ingrained in the country, and started attending organizing meetings for young Jewish people in America attempting to wrestle away the monolithic, bludgeoning voice that AIPAC uses in representing the political interest of Jewish-Americans.

According to all the financial analyst it's an offer thst no way could the Twitter board accept and they'd (the analyst) consider it financially irresponsible to do so.
I don't know the particular logistics but I think the fact that while Musk is offering them a markup, the stock price was 70 something dollars not too long ago (ie way more than Musk offering).
Plus it also sounds like Musk violated the law by not disclosing when he owned a certain percentage of Twitters stock in a timely manner.
I'd file this under long shot of anything significant happening

Not sure how many cars went in, but it was probably very fortunate that this happened in the middle of the night and not during the day, say rush hour.

From what I've read it may have been a mechanical problem. Lost propulsion.
Personally, I suspect it was an elderly asian lady driving it.

I couldn't watch the video again, but I read that on video it looks like power visibly went out twice on the ship before it collided. Terrible.

fwiw, this same ship had an ‘infrastructure accident’ in Antwerp back in 2016.

Looks like loss of power and propulsion. Or Boeing’s now in the shipbuilding business.

Looks like the ship managed to put out a mayday before the collision. That allowed police to stop traffic onto the bridge. Sadly, it looks like there were still 6 workers on the bridge at the time of the collapse. Just terrible.
