just play well enough to be there at 9 or 10...not well enough to get into the top 5.
thanks Baker.

Smart decision by Allen. If he plays well in this environment it would be huge for him.

There were rumors that the Jets' coaching staff could be one of the staffs for the Senior Bowl because it is usually one of the worst teams with a returning coaching staff. The Browns' had it last year and there were a lot of indications that they will not return this year. Giants will have a new staff as will the Colts. Texans are rumored to be one of the teams. Unfortunately it looks like the Broncos will be the other staff even though there are a lot of changes on that staff. It would have/could be great to have our staff on the sidelines.

the jets will have a significant entourage of their coaching and scouting staff in attendance anyway. I'm not sure it matters if they're coaching one of the team's or not.

It’s def an advantage to have the coaches working hands on with these kids in game situations

UCF senior LB Shaqueem Griffin has accepted an invitation to play in the Reese's Senior Bowl.
This is one of the best stories in college football. Not only is Griffin the twin of Seattle Seahawk cornerback Shaquill Griffin, he's also been among the most dominant linebackers in the AAC. And, perhaps most amazingly of all, he's done it while playing with just one hand, as the other was amputated as a four-year-old from a congenital disorder. Griffin (6'1/223) is going to be heavily scrutinized for obvious reasons, but his ability to make plays sideline-to-sideline make him at the very least an intriguing prospect at the next level.

Rosters are released Wednesday. The accepted invite list is loaded. Lots of QBs trying to make a name for themselves in a very deep class.
The practices and game will definitely be something to watch.

I'm too hurt to prove I suck.

Nebraska QB Tanner Lee will take Mason Rudolph's spot in the Senior Bowl.
Rudolph will miss the game with a left foot sprain. Lee never played like a legitimate NFL prospect in college, but he's got size and arm strength to dream on. The 6-foot-4, 220-pounder threw for 3,143 yards and a 23/16 TD/INT rate on 57.5 percent completions last season for 4-8 Nebraska. He's been training with quarterback guru Steve Calhoun recently.

I'm sure it's a coincidence that the Broncos' coaching staff has the best QB prospects.

Will be paying close attention to Allen. Since the media already has him linked to Bates.

Unless Cleveland drafts him or we sign Cousins then we’re taking Allen at 6 and then I’ll prolly just skip the next few football seasons

This is gonna be one of those drafts where i'll be elated with our pick or wanting to dive head first into an empty swimming pool....no middle ground.

He’s very impressive as an athlete and has one of the strongest arms in years, but he wasn’t able to elevate his game when his help left.

He had some kind of family issue or something. They said he'd show up later.

I laughed more than I should have at that

Akrum Wadley 5'10 188#... would have liked him closer to 195
Rashaad Penny 5'11 224#... good size, reminds me a little of Demarco Murray

Scott Wright:

What a dick lol

Ohhhhhh

#Wyoming’s Josh Allen has definitely had some bad misses against air.
The stats won’t show this though.

freaking air can't catch excrement.

I'd reserve judgement until later in the week as timing can be a huge part this early on.

Baker easily looks the best out of all the QBs

Tomorrow, 2:30PM EST, NFL Network

Is Mike White an option at 38? I've never heard of him, but his progressions and accuracy were spot on.
Mayfield should have been 5 of 7. Other than that, meh, he showed up.
Can't remember the name of the RB for the South, but looked impressive.
Edit: Penny
-
Mike White is a fourth or fifth round prospect at best.
-
Josh Allen is stepping up.
-
Lance Ito Smith

Josh Allen with a kiss to the haters. He balled in the 2nd half, showed accuracy and touch... He actually looked like a quarterback and not just a guy rifling erratic throws. I can easily see he getting drafted in the top 5. The 3rd quarter was a culmination of everything you hope he can be.
Players who impressed me: Davenport, Darius Leonard, Ballage, Penny, Kyle Lauletta, DJ Chark, Michael Gallop and Okoronkwo.
I mentioned Lauletta the other day in the draft sub, but he's someone I could see the Pats grabbing in the 2nd or 3rd, sit behind Brady for 3 years, and then have him step right in. Accurate, good quite feet, nice release.
I really like Ballage as another all-purpose back. Same with Penny, although I wish he had a little better lean as a runner, plays upright, but still a very good RB.
DJ Chark is explosive as hell and could be a great day 2 or early day 3 sleeper.
I think Wadley lost a lot of money this week. I think he became a 4th or 5th round pick after a very underwhelming week. DaeSean Hamilton dropped a few balls that he should have caught.
On a side note, I though the north got severely outcoached, especially early on.
-
DJ Chark and Will Hernandez made the most money this week.
-
Chark looks good but I got extremely annoyed by him slowing down to showboat for his second TD and almost getting tackled. That didn't say good things to me about his attitude when he's doing that in the single most important game of his life so far.
-
That touchdown pass off of the reverse play action was an elite throw.
The bullet pass to Michael Gallup on the crossing route was really nice too.

You really hate fun.

I think there's a time and a place for it, and risking getting tackled on your way to a TD because you're dancing and celebrating at the 15 yard line is a bit stupid when you're currently auditioning for the biggest job of your life. Celebrate all you like in the EZ, but doing what he did smacks of poor judgement.

Any idea on his credit score? I'm thinking 640.
