I really like our current jerseys. They are classic, crisp and clean. I hope there isn’t some full scale redesign changing logos and colors. Nike scares the excrement outta me here.
I’m also waiting for the redesign to get Adams and Darnold jerseys. Either the new design is awesome and I’ll want them in those, or I’ll hate the new design and want the current versions, of which back stock is going on sale as soon as the New Jersey’s are announced

This is the right attitude. might as well be excited for the best. Not like we can change it, and whether it’s awesome or not, that’s the jerseys that will define the next decade of Jets football, and the jerseys we finally win a super bowl in.

I don't know about the "Sport Green" because I don't like the Color Rush unis, but if it doesn't consume the entire outfit like the CRs it might not be bad. I don't want to move away from Green and White as the standard, but black accents could be cool.
I'm fine with a new logo. I prefer the current one to those of the past, but I'm curious to see the new one.

It really boils down to a culture shift. If the new unis are ugly as sin but we make a strong playoff push the first year, it'll be associated with the dawning of a new era.
I think our current uniform and color scheme is the best in the NFL but I'm excited at shedding the SOJ mentality this could bring.

That’s what I think, and usually he has Jordan gear like this all the time, but I’m 2nd thought, those are obviously game/practice cleats that he had custom made, makes too much sense that they would match the new Jersey given how closely Jamal has been involved.

Meh. Those pretty much follow normal Jordan 1 colorways. They'd look pretty wack without the black which is typical for that design.

i have always liked our current jerseys, but they are simple, boring, and old. a change has been needed for a while. i started watching the jets when they had these jerseys, so it's the only one i've watched.
since then the giants have had at least 2 major jersey design overhauls with many small design changes since then.
the only thing we've done in that time is introduce the green pants, which look 'okay' when we use them with the white aways, but the regular green home with green pant combination is among the worst jersey looks i've seen in the nfl. i am not talking about the color rush unis, which look good.

Costello: The Jets announced they would unveil their new uniforms on April 4. I spoke with two people who have seen them. One said they reminded them of the Eagles’ uniforms. Another said one of the alternate uniforms has black as the predominant color.

I despise kelly green, so for me, without even seeing them, it's a nightmare. I was so happy to go to the hunter green with Parcells. I'm happy about a black alternate, but I'm sure it'll still have that kelly green so "Meh."

At least parts of the old logo will return, I guarantee it. You dont put shapes from the old logo Into marketing assets just because. They're rebranding, and the font is an indication of what the jerseys and logo will look like

I'm a fan of the Jets for a myriad of reasons other than loving the sport of football. When i was deciding on a team to follow in 1996, the look of their jerseys and color scheme was one of the factors. The other was they weren't very good at the time, so that eliminated the "you're just jumping on the bandwagon" narratives.
If watching fat men running into each other is the basis of why you watch football, maybe you should hang out at the Blue Oyster. You wouldn't have to worry about jerseys, just black leather and ball gags.

The changes are so pointless that it's not actually registering for me. Which may or may not be an indictment at how indistinct our old logo was.

The old unis were just nice and safe. Clean, slightly better than middle-of-the-pack as far as NFL uniforms. I was never under the impression that they were iconic or awesome.
I like these more, especially the helmets. So I'm fine with them and admit it adds just a tiiiiny bit more excitement for the 2019 season for me.

I lean towards liking them. I certainly prefer Gotham green over Kelley green, so that makes me happy. I've wanted black alternates since Parcells floated the idea, so I'm happy there too. I actually really like the chrome-style helmets. I also like the streaks. So all of that is pretty positive.
But the logo is hot garbage. To me, it's worse than why bother, because the previous one was better thanks to the background NY.

Like I said before, every opinion I’ve seen on here or elsewhere, everyone has a different opinion of what jersey they think is “best”. That’s probably a good thing.
Green is my favorite color, so right now I like that jersey the best. I’ve always wanted them to have a black jersey, so I’m very happy with that. I never was a fan of our last white jerseys, and think the new whites look much better. They look cleaner and the shade of green in the numbers really pops.
So, I’m pretty happy with all 3.

have changed my thoughts on the helmet. the jersey unveiling was an abomination and that room/lighting sucked. the helmet logo still looks tacky as hell and the logo itself is trash but the color is actually awesome; in some of the outdoor pictures with actual light the helmets look great, very luminous. at the actual unveiling the helmets looked darker than the jersey but i suspect this was because of the lighting in the room. they're going to look good on the field

I got my first one of these, albeit unintentionally. Was at a Nike outlet over the weekend with a 30% off friends and family coupon. I’m looking around and my friend comes up to me holding a black Darnold jersey he found on a misc rack. It’s in my size. The coupon is applicable to everything in the store as well as on top of every sale. The jersey is too nice and too good of a deal to pass up once it’s in my hands. They don’t even sell jerseys at the outlets so this must have been a return or something. It totaled $70.
I was originally planning on getting a green Darnold and a black Jamal but this jersey is freaking sick. The fit is amazing and it just feels fresh and up to date with the current era of jersey designs/materials. I might already like it better than our old jerseys.

We all associate uniforms with the players and teams we watched wearing them, and not even Gase's staunchest defender could claim that 2019 was a successful season characterised by the kind of entertaining football we happily pay $100+ to watch. Same for me. I think the Jerseys could have used a little.. something but I can’t say specifically what it is though. Maybe the Jet streak/arrow we had in our pre-98 logo if that makes sense. It’s a bit generic but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
The helmet logo looks like clip art to me but the candy apple green is great. I suspect they’ll unleash a v2 Jersey in a couple years that will improve it

Five years is the normal rule. I think they’ve adjusted some rules recently though, like allowing teams to wear their throwbacks more often. I think we’ll see the Rams away alternate be their normal away here in the near future, too.

I was on the freaking escalator coming in because I was delayed by work and the weather coming in. I heard Wischusen say Zach Wilson's name on the radio call on the way in, and that's when I knew.

I went to the Jets store in the stadium last night, I finally found it after three failed previous attempts. No Garrett throwback jerseys. I'm just sticking with Mangold, I think.
