Cross your fingers that a tackle falls or that we can trade back and acquire more picks.

Let’s talk networks for a second. I’ve basically watched NFL Network for years. But I’m staying with my Pizza during the whole social distancing thing, she doesn’t get NFL Network. Is ESPN going to be a reasonable broadcast? Or should I just go back to my apartment to watch it all unfold?

This.

ABC will have a different broadcast, I think.  The college football crew and Todd McShay will be on ABC.

Bogger McFarland will be on ESPN, so I don't plan on watching that.

Mario kart

In order to win the race you must finish the race first with no beer left.  The catch is you cant drink while driving.

Rumors flying about teams trying to move up for tackles.  Great.  I really don't want to move up unless it's Becton.  Hopefully Doug sits tight at 11 or moves back and it's all bluffing.

Just seems it's rarely wrong to stay put.

This team isn't in any position to move up. It'll suck if all 4 OL are gone in the top 10, but that's our cross to bear.

Lucky for us the OL class is deep.

Man, everyone wants to move up for tackles and everyone knows we are the one to jump.  I really don't want to trade up.  I don't think anyone but Becton is worth it.

Yeah, I'm really not dying to give up assets to move up. If we end up giving away one of our 3s to secure a tackle, it's not the end of the world, but I'm also fine taking a WR/Simmons at 11 and taking two OL in the 2nd and 3rd rounds.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the Dolphins are gauging the price to trade up for the No. 3 overall pick for an offensive tackle.

Trading up to the No. 3 overall pick entails swapping with the Lions, who are reportedly "high" on Auburn DT Derrick Brown. Having said that, jostling to nab an offensive tackle makes little sense for the Dolphins, who hold three picks (No. 5, No. 18, No. 26) in the first round. Assuming Giants GM Dave Gettleman has his sights set on one player in particular, Rapsheet's scenario (if true) means the Dolphins covet that one individual even more. Washington is also still "listening" to offers for both Trent Williams and the No. 2 overall pick, and the Giants have made it known they wouldn't mind dropping back to collect more picks, as well. Buckle up.

I'm calling bullshit on this.  Miami wants Tua.  Everything else is smoke to keep LA and Carolina behind them.

Depends, if they're planning to keep 5 and use 18, 26 and something else to trade up for 3 then they could have their choice of tackle and still take Tua. Don't know what else it would cost though.

To get from 18 to 3 would probably be 18, 26, 39 and Houston’s 1st next year.

I read a good point that if the college season is in question, there may be a significant uptick in the supplemental draft because some players may choose to move on now.  I would guess more middle of the road players, not the top ones because it behooves them to wait for a bigger paycheck.

That would be nuts. Trade Mack because you didn't want to pay him, and 2 years later trade the last of the goods from the Mack deal for Ngakoue, who isn't nearly as good as Mack, but will want to be paid exactly like him.

But whatever...

I think the Jags end up getting 2021 picks for Ngakoue to go after Lawrence.

I had been thinking for a while that if I were a 5-star high school kid, I would just go pro now and take the G-League money. This point totally works for the supplemental draft as well. I think that will be a bigger deal.

I’m a bit saddened that Mims went with 11, I prefer WRs with numbers in the 80s
