we'll be updating the board software to a new version this saturday...so the site will be down for an indefinite period.

I was having trouble replying to messages here and there, couldn't find any issues on my end.  Is it a website thing?

You're not the only one going through this.  I'm hoping updating the board version will help.  But it could the webserver itself....our webhost support is freaking useless.
