Didn’t happen with Cameron Clark, Mitchell has a shot to be a good depth/low tier starter. Let’s see what Carter brings

There’s a lot of solid players at those two positions still out there. I’m expecting those to be the spots we go, but Abanikanda was very likely the overall BPA at a position we wanted to boost.

Meh, it's the 5th round. Breece is great but who knows how he'll be coming off an ACL and could have some knee-related issues this year. Besides Carter we don't really have much depth at RB. If Breece is having injury problems he could help shoulder the load.
Saleh doesn't seem to value LB or S in the draft at all either, unless it's an S playing LB.

It's round 5. We clearly needed a RB with Breece. Carter and Bam weren't great last year and bringing in competition is good.
Lots of people had him as a top 5 RB in the draft. And he is a great fit for us.
I prefer this to Fournette/Hunt or to drafting someone earlier.

I would be fine with that. At this point, you're mostly looking for special teasers or guys at non premium positions. Or taking swings on injured guys or guys who slipped for character

We weren't interested in Karl Brooks, not sure there are other guys worth targeting. The Sooner kid is an option I hope we're considering.
