Both teams that I wanted to win lost.
But I'll still enjoy it because it will distinctly lack Massholes.
-
Not often I get to see a team in the Super Bowl that I've never seen it it before. Not many left, KC was one, NYJ are another.
-
I don't really have any desire to see the Super Bowl.

I boycotted the last two, I'm back on board now.

I hope Reid wins, that's about it.

I don't really have any desire to see the Super Bowl.
Other than rooting against the Pats, I'm always more interested in the food and commercials than the game. At least I won't have the Massholes to distract me this year.

This is actually the first year in a couple that I'm interested in the game. The sub-plot of redemption for either coach given their history (Shanahan was the offensive coordinator for the greatest collapse in super bowl history-Reid's history is well documented), the question of how either quarterback is going to play under the brightest of lights, the fact that neither team has won in a long time (94 for the 9ers, 70 for the Chiefs), I'm into it. I'm interested to see whether or not the Chiefs defense can continue their trajectory and stop what's become just an absolute devastating running game for he 9ers, and whether their pass protection can hold up against that stacked d-line. The petty part of me would love to see Kittle posterize Darron Lee in the end zone.
Oddly enough Montana played for both teams, I wonder if they'll bring him out in some capacity as part of an NFL 100 celebration.
-
I mentally blocked out last years SB but just heard that there was 1 play run in the red zone the entire game for either team - the Sony Michel TD.
What an awful game. Out of all the SBs the Patriots barely scraped by to win (Vinateri x3, Pete Carroll, 28-3) this one may have been the worst because they did the least to deserve it.

Feeling extremely vindicated reading this post

fyp. Of all the nipple-rubbing Bill Belichick has done in the past 20 years, I'll bet he rubbed hardest to 13 - 3.

I am a fan of Rany Jazyierli's writing on Kansas City teams. He writes from the perspective of a middle aged dude that has never seen his team in the Super Bowl. This ... resonated with me at least. Seafood, I suspect you'll like this one too.

Anyway, I'll root for the Chiefs, despite Angelo Cataldi's best efforts otherwise. For those that don't live in the Philly area, Cataldi is the sports host on 94.1 FM and he has just ripped Andy Reid daily for the last week solid. "They're a bunch of criminals!" (Not entirely untrue, I guess)

I've seen that he was offered the coin flip, but Joe dosent do excrement unless Joe gets paid.

That was good. I'll say this, during their 50 years they had a lot more chances, home playoff games and division titles. Our drought is not only one year longer until now, it's a lot dryer. Two division titles, four AFC Championship Games all on the road, five home playoff games total, four of them in the Wild Card round.
One highlight, KC's one playoff appearance he referenced from 1971-1990 was the 1986 Wild Card game at the Meadowlands, we won 35-15, I was there.

Who else takes Monday after the SB off religiously?
-
Tacos tonight. What's on your menus?
-
Tacos tonight. What's on your menus?
Very basic Pizza and Wings
I think SF is going to win it tonight.
If they do that has to be one of (if not the greatest) turnarounds ever from one season to the next. I doubt there has ever been a SB winner that the previous year picked top 2 without trading up
-
Tacos tonight. What's on your menus?
Smoked wings
queso
doughnuts
buffalo chicken dip
chips n dip
cardiac arrest
-
Empanadas and tostones
-
I want some wings. I think I'll get some. Beer. Yeah.
-
Nashville hot chicken, some sweet and spicy pickles, and cannoli dip
-
ESPN just said chiefs fans are projected to take up 67% of the super bowl, highest of all time

Did a last minute audible to wings.

I just ate a excrement ton of old bay wings.

Todd Bowles biggest mistake as NYJ head coach was not pushing for a Tyrann Mathieu signing

Camera was to her back from the waist up
No boobs to distract from the bowlcut

The guard play in this game...
Night and day from what we see from the Jets

Glad I missed it. I heart bewbs.

I hope Crapollo gets exposed for being an average QB riding a defense to the playoffs. I hope the Chiefs put up 50.

I've seen more creative offensive play calling in this first quarter than I've seen from freak face Gase all season
-

Until this drive it's been all dump off passes and handoffs. Lots of movement and no aggression. Waiting for someone to sack up and go deep.

Aside from the reverses to Samuel, everything has been fairly conservative
-
That Jason Momoa add was disturbing.

Conservative play calling by these coaches is still light years ahead of what our clown comes up with.
-
Say what you want about Gase, I appreciate his douchiness at pressers.
-
Conservative play calling by these coaches is still light years ahead of what our clown comes up with.
These teams, mainly Kansas City, are on a different level.
Chiefs shifted to Wildcat and ran an option play at the goal line. Gase calls the Wildcat and he’s the worst coach in the NFL.
Whining about our play calling during the Super Bowl, especially when the play-calling is nothing special ...is sad and hilarious.
-
Jimmy with the elite -3 yards passes ala Bardy. He's totally going to fake his orgasms with hoers tonight.
-
Wow that was a terrible play by Garropolo

All this pre-snap motion looks so foreign to me.

Our offense was ranked almost dead last. We were more efficient with Bates last year. But keep making excuses and blindly supporting him. You do you

Sabra hummus Ric Flair commercial. Woooooo!!!
-
Niners going ultra-conservative here.
-
Twitter: Going from the Alzheimer’s commercial to Ric Flair with a tub of hummus to the dog with cancer being saved is quite an emotional journey
-
This is an insane gamble. Really doesn't project faith in your quarterback.

That was such a weird minute.

Maholmes looking kinda shook

yea he shook

Maholmes is the reason the chiefs are in the game and the reason they're down.
Niners defense is good

Put my kids to bed when it was 20-10. Get done and its 24-20. Wtf.
-
Ayyyy

Game
-
Good. freak Garoppolo.
-
Shanahan lost because his hat brim is flat. You just can't do that.
-
Well that end of the first half was as baffling in hindsight as it was at the time. I can understand not having much faith in JG but they could have had the ball with two minutes and two timeouts. Plenty of time to run down the field.

Mike Pennel(ty) finally gets his ring.

Good for Andy. If I could have any coach in the league it would be him.

I wonder if Lee and Claiborne get rings

Mike Pennel(ty) finally gets his ring.
As do Darron Lee and Morris Claiborne.

Good for Andy. If I could have any coach in the league it would be him.
Can you imagine how much damage he could do at NYC restaurants

Andy Reid is definitely going to Waffle House tonight!

Darron Lee. Super Bowl champion.

John Harbaugh for me, but Reid is top 5.

Kyle Shanahan: Super Bowl choke artist
John Lynch leaving the booth early to come down and celebrate...freaking loser

Our offense was also more negatively impacted by injuries more so than any team in the NFL by a tremendous margin last year.
We may have been ranked dead last, but the offense had done a lot of good things it's never done before.
We had numerous quality offensive showings, and probably did the best this team's ever done on opening offensive drives I've seen in my lifetime.
Obviously Gase has to improve the offense dramatically next year, but the offense numbers were skewed badly by Darnold being out.

Wild that Darron Lee, Mike Pennel, Eli McGuire, and Morris Claiborne all became productive players after they got away from Gase. SMH.

the greatest cover corner i've ever seen, one of the best defensive jets ever and one of our best home grown products, won this round of the sherman beef after sherman was whooped by a past-his-best sammy watkins, and i recently learned that revis is smashing a high end IG thot
GOAT status cemented

Just want to remind everyone that when that went down, one of the continuing media narratives was what a mess the Jets were despite having zero murder-suicides committed by our players.

Dude lived in the backfield. Q is going to be a good to elite player in the league but I don’t think there is any way he creates the havoc in the passing game that Bosa is capable of
