Sam is having tests tomorrow to determine whether he will be good to go Sunday.
-
Win and we're in
-
Jets only 7.5-point underdogs compared to being 2-touchdown underdogs each of the last two weeks.
That's why I thought this might be our best chance in that group of games to win. Yes, I know it will sound like a Cowboys home game.
-
Chris Herndon injured his hamstring running routes on his own last Friday...he's not practicing today.
Per Costello
And Mosley isn't practicing either...apparently he's listed as "doubtful" for the game.

Jesus freak
I'd think you use Herndons exemption for the week just because it's an option and hammys are tricky
The Mosley thing blows my mind. They made it sound like he was going to be back week 2

It boils down to "we can't have nice things".

Take my groin CJ I don't nee-
ehhh on second thought, there's some things I won't sacrifice, even for the Jets. Especially in a lost season.

Mosley has already missed more games with the Jets than he had missed in his entire time in Baltimore.
-
Anyone who saw Moseley limping off the field when it happened and think he'd back in the near future was fooling themselves.
Of course, Herndon got hurt. Because why not. That boils down to "We can't have nice things."
-
Rush Mosely back for a meaningless game we're going to lose anyway and he could be done for the year. Groin, hamstring, the only way to heal it is time. And time, as we all know, is a lover of the older lady.

And next week is the Pats so maybe we should just give him that week off as well. Bring him back when our season starts against the jags October 27th

What's wrong with you? The only way players are going to get better is by playing! Stop worrying about their health. Rub some dirt on it and get out there!

If you want to rub dirt on his groin have at it. I'm busy.

It's not the same when we talk about a healthy 2nd year QB than an injured veteran LB
-
Mosley has a groin like Abraham's
-
I’ll volunteer to rub Mosleys huge groin to help him start this Sunday

If Darnold can somehow win this game, we might not be dead at 1-4 given our schedule.

If he wins the next 2 we can start talking playoffs

If he wins the next 2, we can absolutely start talking playoffs, but even if we get a split, we're not dead at 1-5, and it's entirely because of the schedule.

Let's list all of the teams who have made the playoffs after starting 0-4 in the entire history of the NFL.
- The 1992 San Diego Chargers
- That's it
We are not making the playoffs.

Congrats on becoming SFD’s first ban

Won't be the first time a man has gone down to SFD.

Not many teams have had Adam Gase

We're also not firing Adam Gase after 4 games, but that's the only thing this board can talk about.
Obviously, it's a longshot, but last year, the Colts made it at 1-5 and the Texans made it at 0-3. The Jets have made it at 1-4 before. If we can get it to 2-5, we can go 5-1 in the following six games to get back in the mix. But it has to start now.

I don't think anyone has actually asked for Gase to be fired after 4 games, if only because there's no succession plan that could make any sense.
We're not making the playoffs though.

I realize no 0-4 team has made the playoffs since whenever, but if we're 2-4 then us having had been 0-4 is irrelevant as we're now a 2-4 team.
That said winning these next two is incredibly unlikely, unless Brady dies tonight
And I just realized of freaking course were playing the patriots after with 10 days off or whatever, I feel like the nfl does that every freaking year. Gives the Pats thrusday night match ups right before us

Your mouth is in the way.

If this team makes the playoffs, next year's tailgate is on me.
I will even buy that bundle of sticks of all bundle of sticks plane ticket to get there.
-
Wow. Playoffs?
-
Obviously, making the playoffs is extremely unlikely, but if they win, they have a chance to make this season interesting at least.
I'm just excited to see Darnold again. He's the most important asset the Jets have. I want to see what progress he's made. The last 2 games, there was just no reason to watch and no hope.

I love Darnold. I just fear for his health behind this atrocious OL and what I believe to be utterly awful coaching.

Sounds like both of Dallas starting tackles are our for this one (though Smith is listed as having a "chance")
-
Mosley really milking this injury
